How much does it cost?
It costs nothing to join and there is no monthly or annual fee. All you will pay are the transaction fees based on selected transactions. Managing your money through internet banking is generally cheaper than through manual or branch transactions. It can also be quicker and more convenient.

How to Register

New to Agrobank?
First, visit any Agrobank branch near to you. Open an account and get yourself an ATM card. Once that’s done, simply log on to www.agronet.com.my and click on Register an Account. Follow the instructions, call 1 300 88 2476 (Press 3) for activation, and you are good to go.

Existing Agrobank Customer?
Joining Agronet Retail Internet Banking is easy. Just log on to www.agronet.com.my or call 1 300 88 2476 (Press 3) for further inquiry and personal guidance by our Contact Centre personnel.

AGRONetBIZ (Business Internet Banking)

Business Internet Banking or known as AGRONetBIZ is an online banking service that uses the Ujrah shariah concept for businesses or non-individual customers such as companies, associations, clubs and organizations or government bodies registered under the Companies Act of Malaysia. 

The company must have an active business company deposit account with Agrobank.

AGRONetBIZ enables corporate and commercial customers to conduct financial transactions on a secure website operated by the bank.

To log in to the AGRONetBIZ service, the customer will browse the bank’s website, and access the online banking facility using the customer’s personal username and password.

Once logged in, customers can perform various banking transactions without having to go to the bank.

There are two (2) types of access available for AGRONetBIZ, namely:

  • Inquiry Access – To check account balances only.
  • Transactional Access – FULL Access (View, Execute and Approve transactions)

Services

AGROSecure (Mobile Token)
– AGROSecure application is a safer and more convenient way to authorise AGRONetBIZ transactions.
– Customer is required to key in the Registration Code and TAC number within 300 seconds during AGROSecure activation.
– Customer is required to key in Challenge Respond Code within 80 seconds to approve or reject transaction for authentication purposes.

Note: Customers are advised to wait until a new timer is generated if the registration code is approaching its end time.

Account Inquiry
– Displays detailed details of the customer’s Savings / Investment / Financing Account, Transaction History and AGRONetBIZ Transaction History.

Money Transfer
– Allow customers to transfer money from their Agrobank account to another account as per the option below:
i. Transfers to own accounts and third-party accounts of Agrobank
ii. Interbank Transfer (IBG)

Bill Payment
– Allows customers to pay bills to existing payee companies and register bills of their choice for an easier payment process in the future.

Approval
– Allow customers with Approver access to approve or cancel any financial transactions executed by the Initiator.

Internet Banking Services Management
– Can only be accessed by customers appointed as Corporate Administrators. The function of a Corporate Administrator is to manage the access of their Users (Reviewers, Beginners and Approvers).

Profile Management
– Allows customers to manage account profiles such as changing Passwords

Message Box
– Allows customers to receive notification messages sent by the bank.

Adjustment Report
– Facilitate the monitoring of transaction reports from when the confirmations made.

Bulk Payment
– Combine payments that have a large number of transactions in one payment file

Payroll
– Dealing with the payment of employee salaries
– LHDNM, SOCSO, EPF

Standing Instructions (SI)
– Fixed instruction facility to ensure smooth transaction flow

Mobile OAO (Online Account Opening)

Agrobank’s Mobile OAO (Online Account Opening) service enables customers to conveniently apply for a deposit account using their smartphone through an entirely digital process.

Follow these simple steps to open your account online using your smartphone:

  • Scan the QR code to download your AGRONet app.
  • Click on the “Mobile Online Account Opening” icon.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account opening process.

  • Malaysian Citizen with a valid MyKad.
  • 18 years old and above.
  • Smartphone with internet access and a working camera.
  • An existing personal bank account registered in Malaysia for initial deposit payment.

DuitNow Auto Debit

DuitNow Auto Debit allows businesses to collect recurring payments based on consent given by customers.

DuitNow Auto Debit Consent Registration is the process where you authorize a merchant to automatically collect recurring payments from your registered bank account.

 

How Does It Work

1) One-off Consent

Businesses send a one-off consent request via their own channel to customers. At the same time, customers approve the consent request at their respective online banking.

OR

Provide Consent

Customer initiates the service themselves by providing consent to merchants for DuitNow AutoDebit at the merchant’s platform or their own online banking.

2) AutoDebit

Businesses or Biller debit customer’s account on a recurring basis according to consent provided by their customer.

AGROAgent (Agent Banking Services)

AGROAgent are authorized banking agents appointed by Agrobank that provides agent banking services of accepting deposits, facilitating withdrawals, fund transfers, bill payments and mobile top-ups. AGROAgent is developed specifically to address the difficulty of obtaining quality banking services, especially for people in remote and rural areas.

These services are offered through selected agents nationwide in retail premises equipment using e-POS terminal technology.

Concept

The syariah concept used for AGROAgent is based on the Wakalah Bi-Ujrah. This concept refers to the representation contract between Agrobank and Agents Agrobank which the Agents act as representatives of the Bank to open the Agent Banking counters for Agrobank by offering services that are agreed to by both parties. The Bank will pay certain wages to the appointed agents for the work done.

An alternative banking channels by Agrobank for residents of rural and suburban areas with no / little access to banking services.

 

How is the banking services carried out?

  • Through these banking services, Agrobank will appoint a representative / agent selected authorized to carry out banking transactions on behalf of Agrobank.
  • Transaction will be keyed-in using the POS terminal.
  • Online management using AGRONet.

 

What type of services does it offer?

Basic banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and transfers of funds can be done on site Agrobank Agents.

 

Does this service use Shariah-compliant banking?

  • Yes, this service is Shariah-compliant banking. Shariah concept used is Wakalah Bi-Ujrah.
  • Wakalah Bi-Ujrah refers to the representation contract between Agrobank and AGROAgents, in which the agent acts as a representative to the Bank by opening AGROAgent banking counters for Agrobank by offering services that are agreed to by both parties.

Are banking services offered are guaranteed safe from any form of intrusion data / personal information?

Yes, Agrobank assures data security / personal customer information is protected and safe from invasion. Meets the requirements of the security level is set by Bank Negara Malaysia.

 

Are there any transaction receipts issued as evidence of completion of a transaction?

Yes, the POS terminal will print 2 copies receipt of the transaction. One copy to the agent and another copy for the customers.

 

Does the reversal banking services allowed for this?

No. ‘Reversal’ banking is not allowed to be made in the system.

 

Are there limitations in the number of business banking services?

Yes. Number of transaction that can be implemented in POS terminal is as follows;
